About the Role
Job Overview:
The Security Guard - Fire Watch will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas to prevent fire hazards and ensure a safe environment. This role is essential in protecting people, property, and assets during times when fire suppression systems are inoperative or being serviced. The guard must remain vigilant to identify fire risks and report any incidents to management or emergency services.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular patrols to detect potential fire hazards.
Monitor areas where fire suppression systems are offline or under repair.
Ensure that all fire exits and safety pathways are clear and accessible.
Maintain clear and accurate logs of patrols and incidents.
Report any suspicious activity or potential fire threats to management.
Assist with evacuation procedures in the event of a fire or other emergency.
Follow all safety protocols and adhere to company policies.
Communicate with local fire departments and emergency services when necessary.
Ensure compliance with local fire safety regulations.
Requirements
1 Year Security Guard Experience
Valid Florida Drivers License (Required)
Class D Security Guard License (Required)
Class G Security License (Preferred/ Not Required)
Personal Vehicle for Patrols if Needed (Required)
